Delete My Data

In compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we're offering this quick and easy way to delete your account and your data from our systems.

Please review the information below before you decide to delete your StellaMart account.

How can I delete my StellaMart account?
If you're a customer using the StellaMart app, follow these steps:

  • Log in to your account in the StellaMart app.
  • Tap on the Settings icon in the bottom right corner.
  • Scroll down and tap on Delete My Data.
  • If you're sure you want to delete your account, tap "Yes."
Your account will immediately be anonymized and disabled. You will not be able to log back in.

If you are the owner of a merchant account and you wish to delete it from our system, please contact us at support@stellamart.com.

What data will be deleted?
Anything considered "personally identifiable" will be removed from our database. This includes the following:

  • name
  • email address
  • physical address
  • phone number
What data will not be deleted?
Your purchase and transaction history will not be deleted, because our merchants need those records for accounting purposes. But your personally identifiable information will no longer be associated with those records.

Will I be able to access my transaction history?
No. Since your email address will be removed from our system, it can no longer be used to log in to your account, which means there's no way to view your history.

What will happen to my existing StellaCoin balances?
Your StellaCoin balances will be lost. If you're sure you want to delete your account, we recommend using up all your balances first if possible. You could also gift your balances to another Stella user using the eGift function in the Stella Wallet. There is no way to verify or match users to balances once an account is deleted.

Can my account deletion be reverted?
No. The account will have been completely anonymized, which means there's no way to trace which account was associated with your email address. Reversing the deletion process will not be possible.
